Typography
Often subtle, but always present. Our typography. An important part of our brand with which we set the right tone. Careful application of our typography families is critical to the consistency and recognisability of our brand. Because after all, this is the brand element that literally speaks to our customers. This section lists our different fonts and includes guidelines on how to use them.
Headers and Titles
Arvo is our brand typeface, chosen for its unique balance of tradition and modernity. As a slab serif, it combines the trust and reliability of a serif with the clean, structured feel of a geometric font. Perfectly reflecting Nexent Bank’s identity.
Used in headers and titles, both in regular and bold, Arvo delivers strong, confident typography. Designed for accessibility, it ensures clarity and readability across all platforms. With full character support, including Cyrillic, it enables Nexent Bank to communicate consistently and inclusively on a global scale.

Fallback Scenario
If the primary typeface is unavailable, a system fallback font should be used to ensure readability and consistency across platforms.
1. Arvo

2. Roboto Slab
Fallback Font - When the Default Font is not available fallback to the bodytext font to maintain brand aesthetics.
3. Arial

Bodytext
Geologica is our chosen typeface for bodytext and long-form content, offering a modern and fresh aesthetic. Its geometric structure ensures clarity, readability, and a sleek feel.

Composition
Typography composition is the art of balancing type, visualising the pairing of our fonts. It serves as a visual guide rather than a strict template, offering inspiration for how typography adapts across different touchpoints.
Every platform demands a unique approach. What works in print may not translate to digital, but this framework ensures consistency without rigidity. By focusing on contrast, hierarchy, and visual flow. The composition helps shape the rhythm of our typography.
Tagline Application
The tagline should always be used in the correct form, depending on the context: written or visual. When used in written communication, the tagline appears as: 'The bank designed around you', starting with a capital T and set in the typeface of choice.
When used as a visual brand element, the tagline takes on a more stylised role. It is written in lowercase as: 'the bank designed around you.' Always set in Arvo Bold, ending with a full stop and aligned with the logo system.
